News - Planning permission gets the go ahead!

The group's vision of modernising the Headquarters and offering better facilities in which to deliver scouting to Wythall, took a big step forward on Monday 18th May with planning permission for the building extension being granted. 

Now the task starts to raise the funds to make the dream a reality. Please look out for the events and activities on the website and on notice boards.

Our Beavers (6-8 yo), Cubs (8-101/2 yo), Scouts (101/2-14 yo) and Explorers (14-18 yo) in Wythall, have benefited from many activities over the years and this is something we are very proud of.

100 Club

The 100 Club is one of our main fundraising events throughout the year. It helps towards the maintaining of our Head Quarters which at this current time is due for a major refurbishment. Membership of the 100 Club is open to all Family and Friends over the age of 16 who wish to join.Each month we give a 1st Prize of £15.00, 2nd Prize of £5.00 and a £100.00 prize at Easter and Christmas. Our neckie is slightly unusual as it has three colours unlike most troops who have two colours in their neckie.

	Keep The Promise (04/10/2008) The Budget 2009 is the last realistic chance for the Government to meet the 2010 target and keep alive its promise to end child poverty. So, in London on Saturday 4 October The Campaign to End Child Poverty are holding the UK's biggest ever event to end child poverty.
	Roverway 2009 - Iceland (20/04/2009 to 28/04/2009) Five hundred miles north of Scotland, lie the glacial fjords and mountainous tundra of Iceland; Europe’s geothermal paradise. Next summer be there and join thousands of others at Roverway 2009.
	WINGS 2009 (01/08/2009 to 08/08/2009) WINGS 2009 is an international experience for Scouts and Guides from all around the world. It will be based in Windsor Great Park in the Royal County of Berkshire for a week starting 1 August 2009.
